Role responsibilities:

As a System Integration Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to seamlessly integrate and optimize various building control systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that these systems work harmoniously, enabling clients to achieve greater energy efficiency, operational cost savings, and improved comfort within their facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced system integration solutions for building control systems
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives
  • Configure, program, and customize control systems to meet project-specific needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring the seamless operation of all systems
  • Perform system diagnostics and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency
  • Create documentation and provide training to clients and team members on integrated systems
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in building automation and control systems
  • Stay updated on the latest developments
  • Perform work to OSC Standards on naming and programming

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with proven expertise in integrating building control systems, and proficiency in programming languages and software tools relevant to control system integration. You should also possess the following:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in building automation and controls
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Certification or training in Niagara, Honeywell, Distech, or Johnson Controls systems (preferred).
