We are currently seeking a ‘Construction manager Electrical & Controls’ to join the growing organisation.

Role responsibilities:

  • Management of electrical installations/commissioning in the industry
  • Planning and implementation of the use of personnel, materials and equipment, taking into account the contractual, technical and business needs
  • Definition of assembly processes, scheduling and monitoring
  • Technical management of employees and subcontractors
  • Quality, performance and deadline controls of employees and subcontractors
  • Independent management of construction site correspondence, such as measurements, timesheets, additional service requirements
  • Implementation of I/O tests including bus commissioning (for pharmaceutical projects according to GMP requirements)
  • Metrological and electrotechnical approvals
  • Responsibility for compliance with occupational safety regulations

What we are looking for:

  • Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering/automation technology or a comparable subject or a bachelor’s degree in this field
  • Several years experience in construction and Electrical & Controls Engineering
  • Basic knowledge, e.g. in Siemens SIMATIC Step7, Siemens SIMATIC WinCC/flex/TIA Portal or comparable systems, is ideal but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of a PLC control is desirable
  • Knowledge of the applicable regulations (VDE, etc.)
  • Teamwork spirit and good communication skills
  • Experience in leading assembly teams
  • Independent, responsible work ethic
  • High customer orientation
  • Good knowledge of German and English
