Company spotlight: Envio Systems

Every newsletter, I like to spotlight a company, whether it’s a startup or a huge corporation, doing great things in the market. This week, my focus is on Envio Systems.

Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Envio Systems transforms older commercial buildings into smart, energy-efficient spaces without the need for costly retrofits. Their plug-and-play IoT platform leverages sensors, AI, and automation to optimize HVAC, lighting, and air quality, all managed through a single intuitive dashboard.

With a growing presence in Europe and North America—including a new HQ in Toronto—Envio is helping property owners cut energy consumption and emissions while improving operational efficiency.

Recognized as a Top 100 Global Cleantech Company, they’re making smart building innovation accessible to the vast mid-market segment often overlooked in sustainability transitions.
