My team & I have recently returned from Germany, where we attended the LogiMAT Trade Show. As well as meeting many familiar faces, we had the opportunity to connect with many new potential clients and candidates and see some of the newest and upcoming technologies across the market.

This year’s exhibition theme was “Passion for Solutions”. The event showcased a wide array of cutting-edge technologies in intralogistics and process management. A few to note:

  1. Industrial and service robots: Over 30 innovations were introduced, focusing on automating picking processes and enhancing warehouse operations. Notably, the RovoFlex picking robot utilizes AI to improve picking efficiency.
  2. AMRs: Companies like AGILOX presented their latest AMR solutions, including the AGILOX OFL, designed to optimize material handling without infrastructure changes.
  3. AGVs: STÄUBLI unveiled the FL1500 autonomous counterbalanced forklift, notable for its compact design and manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
  4. Simulation and Digital Twins: AGILOX showcased simulation-based robot development and end-to-end digital twins for AMRs, facilitating virtual testing and process optimization.
  5. Energy-Efficient Systems: Companies like Tailift Material Handling USA Co. Inc presented new energy forklift series emphasizing sustainability through energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
  6. Compact and Vertical Storage Systems: Solutions like Modula‘s vertical storage systems were highlighted for maximizing storage capacity in limited spaces.
  7. Flexible Conveyor Systems: Exotec demonstrated its Skypod system, featuring robots that navigate storage racks to retrieve items, enhancing warehouse efficiency.

Spotlight on: Anyware Robotics

Headquartered in San Francisco, Anyware Robotics is redefining warehouse automation with its advanced AI-driven robotic systems. Their flagship product, Pixmo, is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing warehouse operations, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in tasks such as picking, packing, and sorting.
