A prominent construction company is seeking a Project Executive to join their Advanced Technology Market in Dallas, TX. This individual will manage large-scale and complex projects, specifically overseeing projects valued at $200 million or more. Responsibilities include ensuring project administration, financial success, schedule performance, risk management, relationship management, team development, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Administration:

  • Facilitate meetings, distribute minutes and action items.
  • Ensure project start-up meetings and systematic tracking of project requirements.
  • Regularly visit project sites and oversee documentation.

Financial Success:

  • Monitor project progress, and budgets, and develop corrective actions.
  • Manage project financials, and develop proposals and execution strategies.
  • Oversee procurement and ensure optimal savings within project requirements.

Schedule Performance:

  • Develop and maintain project master schedules.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assess schedule progress and develop corrective measures.
  • Document and communicate any project delays.

Risk Management:

  • Understand and act on contractual terms and conditions.
  • Develop and monitor risk management plans.
  • Implement corrective actions for risk mitigation.

Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary customer contact.
  • Develop and monitor relationship management plans.
  • Maintain clear communication lines between the project team and stakeholders.

Team Member Development:

  • Ensure project staff align with company values and vision.
  • Mentor and train project managers and other team members.

Collaboration:

  • Maintain a cooperative work environment across all teams.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum ten years of related experience.
  • Proven record of project profitability and management of design/build projects.
  • Knowledge of various contracting methods and legal aspects.
  • Experience in managing equipment procurement and installation.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic business mathematics and computer applications.
  • Ability to develop and interpret complex financial information.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Normal office environment with moderate noise level.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple team members and external resources.
