We’re hiring a Sales Director (Western Europe) to join an innovative robotics and automation company. This role is based in Germany and offers the opportunity to spearhead our expansion across Western Europe. In this strategic role, you will take the lead in driving regional growth and building a strong commercial footprint.

Role responsibilities:

  • Design and implement impactful sales strategies aimed at accelerating revenue growth and enhancing market presence across Western Europe.
  • Take full accountability for regional performance, including revenue targets, P&L oversight, and business planning.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across sectors such as e-commerce, retail, third-party logistics (3PL), fashion, automotive, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and industry influencers to support long-term success and customer loyalty.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle—from prospecting and engagement through to closing deals—with a focus on accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Continuously improve sales workflows to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments in regions such as DACH, France, and Benelux to inform strategy and maintain market leadership.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture focused on results, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

What we’re looking for:

You should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a similar discipline, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise sales—ideally within intralogistics, automation, robotics, or smart warehousing. Additional qualifications include:

  • A successful track record in creating and executing regional sales strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics automation, warehouse robotics, and AI-driven supply chain technologies
  • A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach
  • Strong leadership qualities, with proven skills in negotiation and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value sales processes under tight timelines
  • Fluency in both English and German (other European languages are an asset)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout the region
