This innovative company delivers products for a wide range of applications, from powering pumps to operating large cranes. As the company experiences rapid growth, they are seeking a talented Technical Support Engineer to join their team and provide exceptional product and application support.

Role responsibilities:

As a Technical Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of the company’s product lines, software, applications, and auxiliary hardware/software to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Delivering technical support for products and applications to internal and external customers via phone and email.
  • Organizing and participating in virtual and in-person meetings to provide product and application support.
  • Managing service requests, including handling the RMA process and warranty considerations.
  • Evaluating and repairing units to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Assisting with product qualifications for new or potential customers.
  • Traveling onsite to support sales activities or troubleshoot technical issues.

Expectations:

We are looking for someone with:

  • A BS, AS, or technical certificate in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to travel occasionally as required.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Preferred experience with PLCs.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with various communication protocols.
