CrimsonXT has partnered with a global pioneer in commercial HVAC technology, specializing in ultra-high-efficiency, oil-free chillers for the built environment.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Vice President of Global Human Resources to lead their HR function during a period of rapid growth. This role is critical for building foundational systems, driving employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s mission and values.

Role responsibilities:

As the Vice President of Global Human Resources, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading global recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Planning and managing employee benefits, payroll, and health and safety programs.
  • Standardizing and implementing global HR processes and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards.
  • Modernizing outdated systems, such as vacation forms, timesheets, and grievance procedures.
  • Acting as the primary representative for legal and union inquiries.
  • Designing and implementing benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Integrating and managing human resource software systems for improved efficiency.
  • Developing and deploying the EDGE performance evaluation and salary planning tool.
  • Building and scaling a high-performance global HR function.
  • Aligning HR policies and strategies with business growth goals, including regulatory compliance and documentation.
  • Partnering with the executive team and serving as a trusted advisor on human capital management.
  • Driving organizational development and shaping corporate culture through HR strategies.
  • Establishing and enhancing training and development programs for all staff, including leadership training and technical skill development.
  • Managing compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to support employee motivation and retention.
  • Overseeing talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion programs to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
  • Managing the global HR budget, including recruiting, onboarding, employee development, and organizational programs.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of HR professionals.

Expectations:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related field.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a global, rapidly growing organization.
  • Proven experience building and executing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP (preferred).
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and trends to inform strategy and achieve measurable impact.
  • Experience driving HR technology integration and process optimization.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Willingness to travel globally (40–50%).
