CrimsonXT has partnered with a leading global manufacturer within the commercial HVAC industry, seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Global Human Resources to join our team. Our clients are innovators in the design and manufacture of ultra-high-efficiency, oil-free chillers, with a mission to reduce global carbon emissions and promote sustainable cooling solutions in commercial buildings worldwide.

With over 20 years of industry experience, they have established a strong presence globally, with manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Our client’s chillers are installed in some of the world’s most iconic buildings, and they pride themselves on their commitment to energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.

Position Scope: The Vice President of Global Human Resources will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy as our client continues to experience rapid growth. This role involves leading a multi-national HR team, aligning global HR functions, and implementing best practices to support the organizational development. You will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and board to build a high-performance, employee-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee global recruitment, selection, and hiring processes.
  • Develop and manage employee benefit programs, payroll, health, and safety initiatives.
  • Implement and monitor standardized HR processes across all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standards.
  • Modernize existing HR systems, including vacation forms and grievance procedures.
  • Protect the organization from external inquiries by unions and legal entities.
  • Design and implement HR software systems to improve efficiency.
  • Led the global rollout of performance evaluation and salary planning tools.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance HR function that aligns with growth and strategic goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on human capital management.
  • Oversee the development and execution of core HR processes, including performance management, salary reviews, and talent management.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead organizational development and shape corporate culture through strategic HR initiatives.
  • Enhance Training and Development function, ensuring high-quality training across all teams.
  • Coordinate leadership training in key areas such as interviewing, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to foster employee motivation and retention.
  • Develop leadership programs to nurture new leaders and enhance the skills of existing leaders.
  • Lead and mentor an HR team, contributing to the growth and development of HR professionals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related field.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in Human Resources, with at least five years in a leadership role, ideally in a rapidly growing global organization.
  • Experience in supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives with measurable impact.
  • HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on aligning HR strategies with business growth.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Effective decision-making skills that balance business objectives with employee needs.
